Ross joined LaFargue in 2024, bringing with him an extensive background in technical problem solving and custom-designed solutions tailored to client and project needs. With a passion for driving change and connecting with others, Ross helps impact how companies think about innovation, working alongside them to recognize and generate change through transformative and empathetic approaches.
Ross graduated from LSU with a BS in Mechanical Engineering in 2019. He spent two years working as a Facility and Pipeline Engineer for a midstream oil and gas company in Houston, TX. Following that, he worked for three years as a Plumbing and Fire Protection Engineer at Genesis Engineering Group in Franklin, TN, where he specialized in project design and project management.
At Genesis, Ross collaborated closely with the firm's largest client, LDG, to standardize design criteria for multi-family residential developments. This standardization significantly shortened turnaround time for new projects in the design phase, increasing total project bandwidth and setting a precedent for maximizing project return and client satisfaction. He also led the training of new employees on software and design standards to ensure departmental consistency.
Upon returning to Louisiana, Ross worked as an independent contractor for a local software startup. He engaged in exploratory conversations with industry leaders to identify market fits and assisted in building out sales collateral for the team.
In addition to his professional work, Ross is a private ACT tutor, cherishing the opportunity to impact his local community positively. He is also an avid sports fan, priding himself in his unwavering loyalty to the New Orleans Saints and New Orleans Pelicans.
